CORVINUS
Corvinus (H19901) is an OTTB. He came to us as an Animal Control Impound for starvation and neglect. He arrived with very overgrown feet, shoes still on, and underweight. He has successfully completed his rehabilitation and is available for adoption. We will have him evaluated under saddle shortly. In the meantime, we do not know what level rider he is appropriate for. Stay tuned for his evaluation.
Well, Corvinus turned out to be an amazing horse under saddle! His calm demeanor and sweet personality should have been the first clue! He proved to be easy under saddle in the arena and out on trail. Just an all around perfect horse!
Funny how life works sometimes. Julia and her family came to volunteer for a day at the rescue. Julia was working with Corvinus. She showed an interest in adopting. Little did we know, Julia's mom was the person who reported Corvinus's neglect in his previous life. Her tenacity is what eventually lead to Animal Control confiscating him. Talk about full circle. She saved his life and found him over a year later. Corvinus found his forever family...the family that saved his life. LOVE this ending.
Unfortunately, through no fault of his own Corvinus has returned. Don't let this handsome guy pass you up.
