In early 2022, a case involving 67 horses in need of homes came about in Idaho. It was unique situation as the 67 were a very rare, unique breed. These Spanish Barbs are 67 of only 400 in North America and proven to be a very pure line. The owner had passed and these horses were in various stages of neglect. We were contacted by Connie of One Day Moore Animal Rescue regarding King, a 25 year old Barb gelding in need of a soft landing. We, of course, said yes. King is a little guy, maybe 14H, buckskin, and is as sweet as they come. Stay tuned as he completes rehabilitation and is evaluated under saddle.
