Fiona

Fiona was originally purchased at an auction on 12/22/15 by Ann Johnston.  Ann was concerned Fiona would end up in a bad place due to her age and condition.  She was extremely underweight and appeared to be elderly.  Ann winged it and bought her.  TLER agreed to take her once a spot opened up.  Well, Darby was adopted and Fiona arrived 12/30/15.  She appears to be around 25 years old with a little hitch in her gait.  She is currently rehabbing due to a lot of weight to gain.  While we were told she is very broke to ride, those days may be over and she may become sanctuary over companion only.  We will give her the time decompress and rehabilitate and then she will be evaluated.

Fiona has completed her rehabilitation.  She is at a great weight,  barefoot, and UTD.  She does have slight stiffness in her hind end from arthritis due to age.  She would be appropriate as a light rider, light riding, children's horse, or companion horse.
