Ginger
There she was sitting in a holding pen at the last Missoula auction for the year. Skin and bones, she just immediately pulled at our heart strings. Who knows what her story is. She is well into her 20s, maybe even 30s. Hard to say when they get up there, plus she has no top teeth and is missing a bunch of molars in the back. She is a petite lady, standing at maybe 14H, quarter horse. She is calm and gentle with that been there, done that feel. We secured her safety, thanks to our generous donors, for $150. What a gem. She is currently in rehabilitation putting on weight. She has been vaccinated, floated, trimmed, and has packed on the pounds with her senior and pelleted diet. Please follow us as we track the progress of this special girl.
Update: Ginger has successfully completed her rehabilitation. She lives out in the pasture, but requires supplemental senior feed twice a day.. She is a bit of a loner and low in the herd pecking order. She does have some mild age related arthritis but does not currently require medication. She has great ground manners and trailers easily. She would make a great companion horse or beautiful lawn ornament.
Adoption Fee: $150
