MILTON BURRO
Milton's mom, Dulcinea, was rescued off a feedlot in Texas by the founder of TLER, Lisa Bone. She was heartbroken to see 100s of donkeys going through processing for Mexico slaughter and had to save her. Dulcinea arrived extremely emaciated with very overgrown hooves. After a month of good food and care, it was obvious she was pregnant. Dulcinea gave birth to Milton Burro on 7/24/15. As soon as he figured out his legs he walked right up to us. No fear. This fuzz ball has so much personality. He has won the hearts of everyone he meets. He will be staying as a permanent resident of TLER.
