MISTY
Misty was one of 15 pregnant mares that found themselves at the Fallon Feedlot scheduled to ship to slaughter. She was bailed out by Marylou Yuskiewicz and landed safely here at Toby's Legacy. She is mostly likely a pasture born and bred mare. She has never been handled. That being said, she is very calm but wary. We aren't sure of her due date but should be soon. In the meantime, we are just working on gaining her trust and building a relationship. She is a very pretty girl. QH type. approximately 10 years old.
Misty foaled a beautiful buckskin colt that we have named Brego on 5/27/14. Brego is a big boy and coming up to us now. Misty's improvements are small but improvements none the less. She is eating food out of our hand and does come up to smell me. Baby steps!
Update: Misty is available to an experienced home willing and able to invest the time, money, and energy into her training. While she has come around leaps and bounds, she has trust issues.
