Whisper

Whisper is an appaloosa gelding in early 20s.  He found himself in need of a home after his owner was no longer able to afford board or take him.  Alex, one of our board members, and Lisa, the founder, made a road trip to Las Vegas to get him.  Once we were home it was apparent his eyes were painful and needed treatment.  We were able to save one eye for the time being, but one eye had to be removed.  Whisper's best buddy is his seeing eye mule, Suzie.  He will spend the rest of his days pampered as a sanctuary resident.
