Meet Sora
Sora is grey Arabian X pony, in her late 20s, who came in with her colt Hurricane (foaled late August 2012). Both of them had a body score of 2 when they were rescued by Toby's Legacy.
Like Logan, another recent arrival to Toby's Legacy, Sora was originally rescued from a hoarding situation in Anza (where Mouse, a Toby's Legacy Success Story, came from) and the new owner was no longer able to afford her care.
Hurricane has been adopted and Sora is ready for her forever family too. The catch... She is deeply bonded with Logan and Dahlia. So, the three are looking for a home together.
She is halter broke, has great ground manners, but is not broke to ride.
Sora developed laminitis and despite a very controlled diet, proper trimming, therapeutic boots, and pain management, we were not seeing improvement. The vet felt this was a quality of life issue. So, we made the very difficult decision to help her over the Rainbow Bridge. She was so very much loved. Always sweet and shy, she'd get lost in a crowd. We always made a point of giving her special attention. She loved her herd and we will all miss her dearly.
